Suggested Walks

The Cleveland Way runs just east of the village, but the most interesting area for walking close to Thimbleby are the woods just to the east, on Thimbleby Moor. Large parts of the woods are Forestry Commission. Looming over any walk in this area is Black Hambleton, which at 1300 feet has spectacular views in every direction.
